In the Kalevala London Dry Gin, juniper is the star of the show, as it should be with a true London Dry. A good quantity of ground juniper is added to the wheat base, with additions of ginger and orange peel following later. Selected fresh herbs, mint, rosebud, raspberry leaf and rosemary, are placed in a tray just below the still’s “head”.
Barrel Aged Gin is a yearly limited release which will develop over the years. The base gin for this is the Blue Label Gin which is aged for between 6-9 months after
distillation. The number and origin of the casks will vary from year to year, making for a unique experience in every vintage.
