Our company is a part of the legacy of Empire Stores and was originally incorporated in 1964. A family owned company, the business has traversed through decades of change and adapted to the times. The main areas of business were always liquor, tobacco and FMCG goods.
With the opening of the Indian economy in 1991 the company started importing FMCG products. The key areas of focus were distribution and marketing with the operations spread out in the entire North India.
New opportunities presented themselves in the beginning of the millennium and the focus shifted towards Tobacco and Spirits. The areas of concentration being distribution and brand building. The company has now firmly established itself as marketers of niche alcoholic beverages. Tequila Corralejo 100% Agave was launched in India in 2004 in association with Fraternity Spirits (Mexico). The company introduced iconic brands like The Balvenie Single Malt Whisky and Hendricks Gin in India in association with William Grant and Sons (Scotland) in 2007.
Being associated with specialty brands is the differentiating factor for us. The operations now are spread out across all major cities in India. Additional business linkages have been developed in the Asia duty free region. The focus is on creating value based long-term relationships with all stakeholders.
Major activities include distribution, import, retail, wholesale, trading, duty free sales and various types of turnkey solutions like project reports (consultancy), data analysis, market entry strategies with regards to the Indian Market. Marketing activities include sales, promotion, direct marketing, research, advertising and online.
Our customers include hotels, restaurants and pubs and retail stores (domestic), diplomatic channels and travel retail.
